When he’s not at work…
Dawson joined the Fellowship of Christian Swordsmen in 2009, and has since spent over a decade choreographing and performing live steel sword-fighting. His journey began with stage productions and engaging live demos at various events. By 2016, he taught himself to write, direct and produce short films that centered around the art of theatrical sword-fighting and his passion for acting, recruiting friends to join him along the way. As time passed, he felt called to shift his focus more towards refining his acting and sword-fighting skills, though his passion for the production side remains undimmed. In 2020, Dawson and his self-taught comrades founded Steel Warrior Films, an independent film group. Their work is showcased on YouTube, and with several members currently studying film, they're buzzing with exciting projects on the horizon.
In 2022, Dawson's life took a thrilling turn as he tied the knot with the woman of his dreams, whom he often dubs the "hottest woman on the planet." He cherishes the time spent caring for her and her magnificent horse, living his life one moment at a time with joy and dedication. If he’s not out building a swing for his wife or cooking up a delicacy in the kitchen, they might be found playing Minecraft together— Dawson in particular having a penchant for pushing limits in his quest to discover just how many mods he can add to the game before his powerful computer waves the white flag of surrender.
